Terms for the free Minty Studio desktop app.

Who provides Minty Studio

Minty Studio is provided by Minty Analyst EOOD, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Contact: hi@mintyanalyst.com.

Permission to use the app

You may download, install, and use the official Minty Studio application at no charge for lawful personal or business purposes, subject to these terms and applicable third-party licenses. The application binaries are proprietary; this is not an open-source license or a transfer of ownership. You receive no right to resell the app, use its branding as your own, or redistribute modified versions as official releases.

No warranty or guarantees

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Minty Studio is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with your hardware or media, accurate transcription or AI output, preservation of files, or any particular editing or export result.

No promised support or updates

The app is offered without a commitment to technical support, response times, training, maintenance, bug fixes, security updates, future features, or continued availability. We may change or discontinue it. A free download, donation, or message does not purchase a support service.

Your files and responsibilities

Keep independent backups of original footage, audio, and project files. Check edits, captions, generated material, and exports before relying on or publishing them. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for media you import and content you publish.

Optional AI and third-party components

Optional external AI features require your own service credentials and may incur charges under the provider’s terms. Do not send confidential or personal information to an external provider without appropriate authorization. Third-party software and downloaded models retain their own license terms; this permission to use the app does not override them. Review model terms before using generated music commercially.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Minty Analyst EOOD is not liable for loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunities, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer or other statutory rights. Those rights take precedence over conflicting wording in these terms.

Downloads and third-party websites

Official installers are published through the public GitHub release channel. External websites apply their own terms and privacy policies. No payment is required for the app itself.

Changes to these terms

New versions of these terms will show an updated effective date. Changes do not retroactively remove rights already granted or mandatory legal rights.
