Local projects and media

Minty Studio edits media on your computer. Project files, thumbnails, proxies, transcripts, and exports are stored locally in the locations used by the app. The core editor does not require a Minty Studio account.

Local transcription and music

Speech transcription and background music generation run locally using the relevant tools and models. Downloading a model or missing tool requires an internet connection to the hosting provider, which receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address.

Optional OpenAI features

If you choose AI-assisted edit suggestions and configure your own OpenAI API key, transcript text and edit instructions are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI’s terms, pricing, and privacy policy apply. These optional features are separate from local transcription. Avoid using them with content you are not authorized to share.

Updates and downloads

The app checks for updates through GitHub. Visiting releases or downloading an installer connects to GitHub, whose privacy statement applies. Those requests disclose ordinary connection and request information to that provider.

This website

This Minty Studio page does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics, account forms, or marketing cookies. Images, video, and fonts are served from this website. The web server and hosting provider may keep ordinary access and security logs, including IP address, time, requested page, and browser information.

Minty Analyst EOOD, Plovdiv, Bulgaria, is responsible for personal information it receives through this website or direct correspondence. If you email us, we use your email address and message to handle that correspondence and retain it only as needed for that purpose or legal obligations.
